According to research by the TUC more people than ever are working from home.

More than 3.5 million people already work from home in the UK, which is 12.2% of the population. This is an increase of 600,000 since 1997. The highest proportion of home workers is in the South West with 15.7%, followed by Eastern England with 14.4%. The lowest is in the North East with 9.3%, followed by Scotland with 9.4%. At Brightenearly we’re big fans of flexible working as we believe it’s not only better for the environment, it can actually be healthier and more productive.

In our view this is all down to how the company is organised. We spend a great deal of time on Google, principally researching new ways to ensure our SEO services are top notch and one of the things we think is massively underused is Google Apps, which allows you to use Gmail company email, online docs and a central calender.
